When director Mike Nichols was introducing Bob to Dustin Hoffman in rehearsals, Bob remembered a kid he used to babysit named ‘Dusty,’ and asked Dustin if his mother’s name was Lillian. The actor looked back at him quizzically and said,“Yes.” Bob replied, “Well then -  I used to babysit you and your brother Ronald on Orange Drive a hundred years ago!”
