Mia Farrow on the set of Rosemary’s Baby

Hollywood - 1967

SOCIETY EXCLUSIVE

Mia is pictured here in front of the iconic Sistine Chapel set for Rosemary’s Baby. It took the scenic design crew six weeks of meticulously duplicating the size, texture, brush strokes and cracks of the real thing for mere seconds of screen time. Art director Richard Sylbert bluffed the studio heads and told them if they didn’t build the sets, the producer would pull the movie from Paramount and finish it at Fox.
