Elizabeth Taylor on bed

Burbank - 1965

Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? was Mike Nichols’ first film, and apparently a very difficult film to make. With the constant acid and bitter dialogue, several crew members left after the first week. Richard Burton could be particularly difficult, but Bob witnessed Elizabeth Taylor reminding him, “Remember Richard, I’m the one making the million dollars.”
